KDO: Voivod pocházejí z kanadského Quebecku a patří k silné čtyřce trash metalových kapel ze země s javorovým listem ve znaku (dále ještě Sacrifice, Razor a Annihilator). Voivod začínali v osmdesátých letech a soustředili se na speed metal. Jejich zvuk se však postupně měnil, Voivod vstřebali vlivy progresivní metalové hudby i trash metalu a na jejich základech postupně vystavěli vlastní originální styl. CO: Voivod vydali na značce Noise Records tři alba. Speed metalové RRRÖÖÖAAARRR, experimentální Killing Technology a progresivní Dimension Hatröss, na kterém poprvé využili techniku samplování. Annihilator – Triple Threat 2CD
KDO: Kanadská trash-metalová kapela založená roku 1984 se na světové úrovni prosadila hned prvními dvěma alby - Alice In Hell a Never, Neverland. Skupinu v roce 1984 založil vokalista, kytarista, baskytarista, skladatel, producent a zvukový mistr Jeff Waters. S prodejem přes 3 miliony nosičů jsou dnes Annihilator komerčně nejúspěšnější kanadskou heavy metalovou kapelou. Spolu se Sacrifice, Voivod a Razor tvoří tzv. Big 4, tedy silnou čtyřku trash metalových souborů z Kanady. CO: Legendární trash metalová kapela připravila na začátek roku 2017 speciální projekt Triple Threat. Hlavní součástí třídiskového kompletu je akustická nahrávka z Watersound Studios. V květnu a červnu 2016 natočil Jeff Waters za doprovodu kompliců několik klasických skladeb Annihilator v prostém nástrojovém obsazení, aby je představil fanouškům ve formátu unplugged. Druhý disk obsahuje živý záznam z festivalu Bang Your Head 2016 a nabízí naopak vitální a muzikantsky precizní plné verze písní. V rozšířených verzích jsou oba záznamy k dispozici též jako video na DVD, resp. BR.
