Svahilština je bantuský jazyk a má nefalšovaný africký původ. Mluví jím kolem 80 miliónů lidí po celé východní Africe. Esperantem Afriky západní je čadský jazyk hauština, kterým se domluvíte nejen v Nigeru a Nigérii, ale částečně i v dalších zemích kolem Guinejského zálivu. Nejexotičtějším z celé pětice je semitský jazyk amharština, jazyk kolébky lidstva Etiopie, který vyniká svým ozdobným písmem.
